Over the years, I could have simply accepted things as they were, but I've always believed in challenging the norm. This drive has consistently led me to inspire improvements in technology and workforce conditions within our industry.
Listening to your colleagues and clients is crucial. By putting yourself in their shoes, you truly grasp their challenges. This understanding fosters empathy, guiding you to offer effective solutions. Remember, communication is the key.
Do not pretend. Unfortunately, I often notice women in leadership roles feel the need to act more masculine. But it is precisely the female strengths and differences in leadership style that make women good leaders and enhance team performance.
The most profound source of inspiration for me comes from the realization that I contribute to something far greater than my individual existence.
Always strive to expand your knowledge, and don't hesitate to ask questions or admit when you don't know something. Embracing the unknown is the first step toward learning something new.
Whenever I am travelling by airplane, I feel so proud, knowing deep down in my heart thatmy contributions have made our world a safer place to explore.
As a young welder, I used to hide, fearing I stood out too much as a woman. Now, I embrace my place with pride, realizing it's my duty to speak up and lead change in this industry, for myself and for others.
